Chinese Women - First Date Tips

First date advice for Chinese women has significantly changed over the years. Chinese women used to do anything just to please their potential date. Then, as time passes they would lose the guy. Does this scenario sound familiar to you (and guys, these tips are for Chinese women bu you might find them of interest too)? If so, you may be asking yourself: “am I doing something wrong?” Although your intentions are good, it may be that you’re just trying too hard. Well, here are some dating tips for women to help you get past that hump.

Leave your emotional baggage at home. Don’t talk about your ex husband or previous boyfriend or fiancé during the first date. In fact, it should only be brought up when the time is right. Why? Because your date would think that you’re angry and bitter for what had happened. He might also think that you still have feelings for your ex.

Be punctual. It’s not thoughtful or polite to let your date wait. Regardless if your date would be dropping by your house to pick you up. Even if you would be meeting him somewhere, you need to be on time. You might think that this builds anticipation. Well, you’re wrong! It would only make you look rude.

Be yourself. Don’t try to pretend as someone you’re not. If you’re not the sexy vixen type, then don’t act like one. Pulling off the girl next door image just to impress your date should not be thought of. You would just get trapped in some fabricated role that would frustrate you even more. And sooner or later, the guy would see right through your charade. Once that happens, he would get insulted by your deceit.

Take compliments. Believe it or not, some Chinese women cannot take a compliment properly. That is one of the complaints men have about them. If your date tells you how beautiful you look tonight, then just say thank you. This is perhaps the proper and simplest response to give him. Don’t make any sort of accusation or cut yourself down.

If he tells you how great you look great in that dress, simply accept his compliment. You don’t need to go into details how you borrowed it from a friend, blah, blah, blah. Whatever positive compliment he says, make sure to thank him for it. He would really appreciate your show of gratitude. Acknowledging a compliment gives an impression that you’re comfortable and confident with yourself.

Be positive. Avoid talking about negative stuff happening in your life right now. Things like how you hate your job, how your parents are driving you crazy, etc. is a no-no. This can prove to be tiring and annoying for your date. He would have wished he just stayed at home than hear your whine. Too much complaining shows that you’re not happy with your life and may never will be.

Express your opinions. This is a first date advice for women that should be practiced. You see, men are attracted to women who can maintain an intelligent conversation with them. Don’t agree with each and every thing your date say as he would eventually get bored. He might even get irritated if you keep nodding your head and agreeing all the time. So, if there’s an issue being discussed that is important to you, state your views. Stand firm if you must. However, don’t turn the evening into an argument or debate.
